hi babes, i'm lexy!

my real name is alexis taylor puhlick. but everyone calls me lexy. i originally grew up in a small town in massachusetts called webster, and if i'm being honest, i really hated it. it was extremely small and everyone knew each other, especially my family because we were pretty dysfunctional. i knew that as long as i stayed in my hometown, i wouldn't be able to escape that dysfunction. that, and i hate the cold.

i always had big dreams for myself. and everywhere i turned, even to my own family, i felt like i was being pressured to play it small, choose something realistic, and ignore what i really wanted. so when i finally got the opportunity to leave, i ran as fast as i could all the way to arizona state university. quite a contrast from my catholic prep high school.

at ASU, for the first time, i saw people my age pursuing the career i had always wanted and they weren't shamed for it. they were actually really successful. i saw a future for myself beyond taking a soul-sucking corporate job and barely making ends meet.

so here i am now, finally doing what i always wanted to do. after years of letting what other people said hold me back, i finally don't give a fuck anymore and i'm just going for it. i worked bottle service, moved to miami, ended up on temptation island, and now i'm making a podcast about all of it.
